Resource Recovery

Perth Recycling Facility

“As an organisation we work hard to improve our environment”

Matera Environmental has access to two Resource Recovery Facility’s within the Perth Metro area. Matera Environmental operates one of these facilities, which is located within a quarry south of Perth. The other facility is a partnership that Matera Environmental has with The All Earth Group located in Maddington. Both Facilities are licensed by the Department of Environment & Regulation (DER) to accept incoming mixed waste, previously destined for landfill burial.

The waste is sorted and screened to recover commodities including soil, steel, concrete, timber and green waste. These are either sent for recycling and/or beneficial reuse off site.

Both these operations engage in practices that promote the recovery of waste generated by the construction and demolition industry.

We receive mixed waste from residential and commercial users of skip and hook bins, which in turn divert waste away from landfills. We actively engage in state of the art innovations and technologies to improve our recovery process, so that our approach to waste has a positive impact on the environment.

We offer a real, tangible and flexible, convenient solution and alternative to taking your waste directly to landfill.

The request for recycling plans by construction companies and councils has allowed for the increase awareness of the requirement of recovering construction and building environmental materials for reuse.

Our facility is designed to maximise the recovery of building and demolition materials for reuse through an innovative sorting process separating the various environmental streams.

Matera Environmental can assist demolition & construction companies that collect building waste from residential and commercial use. Ensuring their environmental are reused, recycled or disposed of responsibly and in the most environmentally friendly way.

We give our Facility Users a real edge to customer satisfaction by offering them a Client Waste Calculator Report. This is a report given to our facility users, showcasing their environmental volumes and recycled percentages

Our prices are competitive and our service is second to none!

We operate accounts for companies who use our facility regularly, please note that there are certain criteria to meet in order to be an account holder with Matera Environmental. Call 1300 246 766 for our account application form or DOWNLOAD FORM HERE
